Run, walk or roll for this virtual fun event on your own course on your own schedule! Choose your distance of 5k, 10k, of half marathon, then run, walk or roll!
Sign up for this virtual run to help support The Do Away With SMA Foundation. You will receive a Customized 'May the Fourth Be With You' race bib, a 2" diecast ' May the Fourth Be With You' medal with a black ribbon upon completion of your run. Post a photo of yourself after your event, or a photo of your time for proof of participation on the event page found here.
Your race must be completed no later than October 4 and medals will be mailed to you in October.

To Receive your medal, you must put your mailling address in the 'special instructions' section at time of payment in PayPal.
"When does the race take place?"
You pick the day and time - although most participants are aiming for May the Fourth. You have a few weeks to complete your distance and must be completed by October 4, 2014.
"When does registration close?"
Registration will close when we sell out of registration slots or October 3, 2014, which ever happens first. We have purchased a finite amount of medals. We will not be reordering once we are sold out.
"Do I have to run/walk it all at once?"
No, use as many days as needed to complete your distance.
"How do you know that I completed the race?"
We are asking that you either private message DAWS on facebook or post your photo directly onto the group page.
"Do I get a tax receipt?"
No, not for purchasing a virtual race. All proceeds from the race go directly to The Do Away with SMA Foundation. However, if you make a donation to the foundation over and above the cost of the race, you will be recieving a donation receipt.
